Pulled Back Muscles can happen due to many reasons. 90 out of 100 people suffer from back pain as a result of pulled back muscles. The victim of such pain may think that there is some major problem with their back.

The main symptoms that notify pulled back muscles are listed below:

In such conditions no need to panic. Try to identify the right muscle where you are feeling the pain and follow some of the below remedies:

  • The basic thing you should do to get rid of the pain is to relax.
  • For the first 48 hours use ice in the affected place to reduce swelling.
  • Move around slowly so that the blood flows into the muscle.
  • Use hot water bag on the affected area; this is very helpful to increase blood circulation.
  • Daily massage of the pulled back muscle will provide huge relief from the pain within a few days.
  • You can also use ointments and sprays to get relief from the pain in the affected area.

Healing of the injury depends on the severity of the injury. If it is a minor muscle injury it might heal with in two to three weeks, but if it is little more serious then it might take five to six weeks. If you take proper care of the pulled back muscle, the pain will fade away gradually.
