By following certain remedies one can definitely find some improvement in the health of the hair. Here are some natural remedies to prevent hair loss and get healthy hair.

Massage
Everyday massage the scalp for a couple of minutes. It stimulates the blood flow to the hair follicles. It can also stimulate some hair growth in case of temporary hair loss. Electric massager that are available on the market are also useful for scalp massaging. Qi Gong, an oriental method, is also useful for increasing circulation to scalp and face.

Aromatherapy
This method is helpful to relax the tense muscles. Mix 6 drops of lavender and bay essential oils each into a base of four ounces of almond, soybeans or sesame oil. Then massage it into the scalp and keep it for twenty minutes. It helps in stimulating the scalp and promoting hair growth.

Saw Palmetto Extract
Saw Palmetto is effective in fighting benign prostatic disease. It lowers the levels of DHT, which causes androgenetic alopecia. It is a better anti-androgen and can effectively treat hair loss. Women who are using oral contraceptives or hormone therapy are advised to take Saw Palmetto.

Nettle Root Extract
Nettles contain vitamins A and C, key minerals and lipids that are necessary for healthy hair growth.

Rosemary and Sage
Rosemary and sage are the herbs that have positive impact on hair growth when used externally. Boil together water, rosemary, sage, nettle, peach leaf and burdock. After this strain loose herbs from the liquid. Wash your hair daily with the liquid.

Jojoba Oil
If you are having seborrhea, psoriasis, eczema or dandruff, jojoba oil can help you a lot. It helps in promoting hair growth and controlling dandruff. It is very useful for hypoallergenic skin as it is a great moisturizer.

Aloe Vera
It helps in promoting healthy hair and preventing hair loss. It can heal the scalp and balance the pH level of scalp apart from cleansing the pores. Mix Aloe Vera gel with little amount of wheat germ oil and coconut milk. It can be used as a shampoo and can give you great benefits.

Henna
It is a traditional Indian herb and a natural hair conditioner. It works effectively for maintenance of healthy hair. It heals the hair shaft and protects your hair against breakage. It also gives shine to your hair.

Polysorbate-80

Split ends often cause a problem for many women and if left untreated they can develop into dry and brittle hair. Split ends are most often caused by over brushing or vigorous drying habits. Over brushing causes the hairs protective cuticle to be stripped away from the ends of the hair fibers and this can only mean disaster for any hair type.

Once you have split ends they cannot be repaired and the only solution is to have them cut away. In order to avoid having to have your locks cuts here are some tips that will provide a remedy for split ends.

Do not over brush your hair

Do not over style you hair; this includes the use of straighteners and hair dryers.

Have your hair trimmed on a regular basis – once every six weeks is recommended.

Learn about your hair type and buy products that are suited to it. If you hair is dry try to use a conditioning treatment once a week as this will help to restore natural moisture and strengthen your hair.

Use a brush that is suitable for your hair type. Many women make the mistake of using the wrong type of brush on their hair and this in turn can lead to split ends and pulling of the hair.

Try not to over do the blow drying or straightening. Both of these will dry out your hair and this is once of the major causes of split ends. If you intend on using either of these styling devices, make sure that you use the appropriate styling products to reduce the amount of damage you are causing.

Get advice from your hairstylist, often this is the best remedy for split ends.

As you can see, there are a number of ways in which you can help combat split ends, but if you do have them, get them trimmed away and start afresh.

Childbirth

Puberty

Stress

Any other form of severe trauma.

These changes cause the hair to go into a state of rest. 3 months later, the old hair will be “shed” and new hair will replace it. There have been chronic cases of this condition but it is very rare and normally occurs in the ages of 30 – 60. Telogen Effluvium can effect any age of people but it regarded as ’self correcting’

Many different medications can cause Telogen Effluvium such as:

Retinoids

Beta Blockers

Calcium Blocker

Antidepressants

ibuprofen and other NSAIDS

It is normal to lose up to about 100 strands of hair in a single day, as such, is normal hair growth. It is important to remember that since there isn’t a need for a treatment, a person must find out what is exactly causing Telogen Effluvium. Figure out if it is being caused by medication, perhaps a blood test can be taken to check iron levels, or you could rethink how you are handling stress. If it is being caused by medication, stop using the medication and notify your doctor for a different prescription. Also always remember that this isn’t permanent and that Telogen Effluvium will not leave a person completely bald, even when they are suffering from its effects.

Here are 6 of the Best Shampooing Hair Tips that will help your hair look and smell great!

Keep your brand of shampoo constant (unless you color or perm it) and use lots of warm water instead of cold. Warm water will activate the formula in the shampoo. Also, if you’re not getting enough suds, add more water instead of wasting more shampoo.

Use shampoo that is designed for your hair type in mind to get the best results for cleaning and styling.

Shampoos and special shampoos like those that cure dandruff work best when massaged into the hair and left in for a couple of minutes.

Before conditioning, remember that soaking wet hair will not absorb conditioner as well as it can when the hair is damp. Also if you are using a conditioning shampoo, it is best to not use a conditioner afterwards.

After using a conditioner rinse your hair with cool water to increase circulation and the overall shine of the hair. You can also tell when all the conditioner is out of your hair when the hair feels a bit slippery and you can run your fingers through it easily.

Instead of using a brush on wet hair, use a large toothed comb. The comb won’t break the hair and cause split-ends. When combing your, hair, remember not to dump it all on the top of your head since it will only create “rats” and knots when you let your hair down.

Following these shampooing hair tips is the first step into achieving that glamorous look you want to have throughout the day, as well as make your hair easier to manage when you wake up in the morning.

Facial Hair Removal has many methods, potions, and lotions on the market. Here are Six Methods to have a smoother, shinier, and hairless face that you’ve desired: (quick note: Bleaching works too)

First Method
Shaving your face; it is only a temporary fix for facial hair removal and isn’t recommended for the ladies since the hair will re-grow too quickly.

Second Method
Tweezers; Tweezing can be painful, but it is a great way to remove hair in small areas since the hair is pulled out at the root. It will take the hair longer to grow back since the roots have grow again as well.

Third Method
Creams/Gels/Lotions; contain a chemical that makes hair easy for removal, yet can be irritating to skin. Make sure the product is designed specifically for face use. Use creams with alpha-hydroxyl acid

Fourth Method
Wax every 4 to 6 weeks in conjunction with shaving or tweezers. The hair becomes suck in the wax and is pulled out when the wax is removed. Always test for an allergic reaction before using and avoid waxing sunburned or on irritated areas.

Fifth Method
Electrolysis; Hair removal that is permanent and uses an electrical volt method that zaps the hairs root. It is time consuming since each individual follicle needs its own treatment.

Sixth Method
Lasers; At times it is permanent but it does leave some hairs behind. You can follow it up with the Fifth Method. Lasers are a bit more expensive but not as time consuming.

Electrolysis hair removal was developed over 100 years ago and is still today a great way to permanently remove hair except for spots in the ears, on moles, and in the nose. The operation consists of a needle that is inserted into the hair follicles which is then followed by an electrical pulse that travels through the needle. The result is the treated hair follicles will not grow again.

There are three basic types of electrolysis hair removal:

Galvanic – An electro-chemical current

Thermolysis – A heat current

Blend – An electro-chemical reaction; a combination of the Galvanic and Thermolysis methods.

People who have pace makers, pregnant, or IUD’s, should not undergo a Galvanic or Blend electrolysis treatment.

Common side effects of electrolysis includes:

Slight pain

Redness

Sometimes swelling.

Scabs appearing from an infection or scarring.

It is also possible for darker skin types to get spots on the treated area. They mostly are not permanent and range in color from white to a dark brown. Electrolysis may be painful depending on how thick the hair is and the area of the hair. Anesthetics can be administered but with an increased cost. Most people undergo electrolysis after they have Laser Treatments done to remove hair. Laser treatments normally will leave some hair behind due to FDA regulations.

Undergoing electrolysis takes money, time, and a lot of energy. Since electrolysis takes quite a bit of time, it may be difficult for some people to endure the discomfort associated with electrolysis. Most treatments are $45 to $125 hourly. It is a great way to remove hair if you wish to have a small amount removed, the time, and money to get the job done.
