Cheap And Quick Home Facials
Here’s an important note before I tell you about home facials. Facial masks whether homemade or not should be left on for at least 10 minutes before rinsing them off. You should always follow this with moisturizer.
Listed below is a simple home facials recipe that will give you a great face mask.
1. French Clay and Aloe Mask
What’s in it?
- 1.5 teaspoon french clay

This next home facial mask is simple and excellent for soothing a sunburned face and for all types of skin.
2. Soothing Yogurt Mask
-
What’s in it?
- 1 tablespoon natural yogurt (best when kept at room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon honey (microwave if honey is hardened)
Prep: Combine ingredients and apply to face. Leave on for at least 15 minutes. Wash face thoroughly with a hot wash cloth. Add 1 extra teaspoon of honey if you have dry skin. Add a couple drops of lime juice (fresh), for oily skin.
Author Diane Irons stated cat litter is the same ingredient found in clays at spas. So why not use them in home facials.
3. Cat Litter Mask
What’s in it?
- 1 bag of 100% Natural Clay cat litter
- 1 to 1.5 gallons of Water
- Drops of oil for your desired smell
Prep: Mix 2 – 4 tablespoons of the 100% Natural Clay cat litter, water and a couple drops of your preferred oil smell. The oil also helps the cat litter less abrasive. Apply generously to the face. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off thoroughly with a steaming wash cloth.
