Healthy Hair – Food Friendly Tips
In order to keep your hair healthy and beautiful, you need to feed it the correct foods just like you do with your body. Here are a few useful tips to keep your hair as gorgeous as you are.
Make sure you eat your greens. A few of these green foods are:
- Green beans
- Peas
- Artichokes
- Leafy vegetables such as salads
Eating sweet fruits will help as well. These fruits include:
- Nectars
- Grapes
- Peaches
Artificial and chemical additives will not give the necessary nutrition needed to keep your body and hair healthy. In your diet you should:
- Limit refined and processed foods ingested
- Don’t over drink iced-drinks. Ice cold drinks hinder digestion and the natural breakdown of foods and such to get nutrients.
Watch what you put in your food when you cook. Adding spices to your food will not only increase flavoring, but enrich the nutrients for your hair. Spices such as:
- Black Pepper
- Turmeric
- Ground cumin
Along with all of these in mind, for your eating habits remember to moderate but still eat Beef at least twice a week, Eggs or Egg Whites, Short Grain Rice, Cottage Cheese, Salmon, and Bacon.
If you are a vegetarian do not worry too much about the red meats. The egg whites and short grain rice (brown or white) should be sufficient. The rice contains that much needed vitamin B and the egg whites are the next best thing when compared to animal protein.
As the saying goes “Too much of a good thing is never good for you at all”. So do not over do it on any of these tips on healthy hair food will keep your body and hair very healthy.
